May the 4th be with You
For our May 4th mutual activity we are going to do a star wars themed evening with the Young Men. The YM wanted to do a Stars Wars themed dance this year and we talked them into a Disney dance instead (that we are wearing costumes too and most of the boys will come as Star Wars characters) so we thought it would be sweet of us since we are in charge of the joint activity on May 4th to be considerate of their likes and dislikes (since they didn't insist we come to a dance as Jedi) and do something they will enjoy. We are just going to have fun. We are going to play bingo (bingo card at bottom of page!). We are going to play Jedi or General Authority with quotes from Star Wars and General Conferences (like Princess or Prophet). I just searched Pinterest and used these images to make my game. There are 3 who don't say who they are quoting. The first 2 are Han Solo and the 3rd one is Boyd K Packer.
We are going to play some games. Storm Trooper Knock-Out, Death Star Bean Bag Toss, Balloon Toss with Light Sabers (we are going to use paper towel rolls for light sabers to save some $), Nerf a Storm Trooper, and Don't Drop the Storm Trooper ( I can't get their link to work).
For refreshment we are going to have Star Wars Trail Mix. With pretzel Light Sabers, mini marshmallow Storm Troopers, stars, and fruit snacks.

Divine Nature #8
I am not going to completely publish all of my lesson because I simply don't want to type it all out (sorry) but I will share my idea and the scriptures and quotes I used if you would like to teach a similar lesson. This is a lesson I taught on Sunday and used as a write in PP for Divine Nature. Here is the paper I gave the girls to glue in their journals. I printed these as half sheets.
